First impressions count, and ours are all good; well kitted out, caters for children and lovely and clean. The enclosed garden works and lots of information on the area around. Feels like a home from home - great to come somewhere that caters for families!                                                              Now leaving; exceeded expectation; property lovely and we all enjoyed.

Had a fantastic week, don’t want to leave! We will be back. Probably the best cottage we have stayed in, so many extra touches. Well equipped, clean, comfortable, no complaints whatsoever. Even the weather has been perfect, all the better to enjoy that view whilst having breakfast outside. The walk into Rowen for a drink in the pub there is well worth it. We had a great 2 weeks, so much to see and do. Then to come back to this great cottage is the icing on the cake. The attention to detail & comfort are to a very high standard. The cooler weather gave us an excuse to light the fire, bottle of wine, very relaxing. If you have children we really recommend the Tal-y –Cafn hotel in the village of Tal-y-Cafn , about 5-10 minutes drive and totally geared up for kids and the food is excellent!

We’ve done a lot of cottage holidays and this is one of the best! A must is the pancake house on Fri /Sat evening when they have a Raclette night; it’s a bit like a B.B.Q.on your table, something very different. Colwyn Bay Zoo was very good lots of nice shops in Conwy if looking for gifts. Take the A5 and just head into the mountains, some fantastic views up there. We’ve only had the week so we’ll be back for more. Bodnant Gardens on a sunny day is brilliant. Llanberis Lake Railway is a nice little trip it includes a stop at the Slate Museum which is free to get in – well worth a visit!

Relaxing on the scenic sun filled patio and enjoying the comfort and convenience of such a well fitted out cottage, I found I had to push myself to go touring. The pleasant dining at the local pub lived up to recommendations and the helpful operators of the little shop down the road. Thanks and compliments to Oakleigh's owners.

Lovely cottage, had everything we needed, the kids loved the toys in the cupboard and the squirrels and birds outside. Fishing was good Stephen had two great days caught carp 18lbs+ There was lots to see and lots to do had a really lovely holiday. Visited all the sea zoos, mountain zoo, foel park, butterfly house, chester zoo and much more. Thanks for a lovely holiday.
